Shibo Nick Nestorovski

Senior/Chief Instructor of Ultimate Self Defence

Nick Nestorovski started martial arts in 2002 with ShiGong/Grand Master Chris Futcher-Coles and still is a student of his for over 20 years now. Nick has achieved a 3rd Degree Black Sash (3rd Dan Black Belt) in the internal system Yi Quan Kung Fu in Sydney. He was the first junior student to obtain a Black Sash at the age of 17 and began teaching as a Senior Instructor. He also achieved a senior level as an Accredited Teacher and Senior Educator in Personal Safety and Self Defence Programs, these programs were delivered to schools, colleges and corporate industries.

During his years of training, he has had other training experience with different martial art styles and systems and thrives to keep learning and evolving.

Nicks goal has always been to teach martial arts and to bring out the best in people, to teach them a system of Kung Fu that is designed truly for survival and Self Defence. He also appreciates the traditions and philosophy in ancient Chinese Kung Fu and all Martial Arts.

My goal is to bring out the best in students and help them acquire great knowledge and understanding in true Self Defence.

Chris strives to create a safer community for all. He is the founder of the Sydney Self Defence Centre, founder and Grand Master of Yi Quan Kung Fu Australia, now semi retired, and more recently creator of STAY SAFE Personal Safety AUSTRALIA workshops and programs.

Chris is a past White Ribbon Ambassador and current accredited Community Partner and NSW Committee Member. Australasian Martial Arts ‘Hall of Fame’ Lifetime Achievement inductee. On the Nominations List for Australian of the Year 2017.

His organisations have won over many National and International Business Awards.
He and his wonderful team trains thousands of people per year as part of the STAY SAFE Australia Programs at Schools, Colleges, Community Centres, Safe Houses, Women’s Shelters and various centres for the Disabled and as well as Council’s & Corporate Businesses who feel their employees may be a risk.

Chris is driven by and believes that every woman, man and child should be able to feel safe in their own homes, within relationships, on the street, at school and at work.
